About Omnijax Accounting Services

Why the firm exists

Small businesses rarely fail because nobody was watching the money. They fail because nobody could produce the record when it mattered — the loan application that stalls, the buyer who walks during diligence, the tax bill that arrives larger than expected because the deductions were never documented.

Omnijax was built around a narrow idea: bookkeeping is not data entry. It is the practice of building a record that survives being examined.

How we work

We are a virtual firm. We work with clients across the country, entirely remotely, which is what lets us keep the practice small and the attention high.

More than fifteen years of hands-on bookkeeping experience sits behind the work. That matters more now than it used to. The market is full of firms selling AI-assisted accounting, most of which arrived with the software. We did this work manually for years before these tools existed, which is why we can tell you what the automation genuinely handles and where it still needs someone watching.

What we won't do

We don't take money from software vendors. No affiliate arrangements, no referral fees, no partnerships. We recommend what fits your business, and if the right answer is a free tool, that's what we'll say.

We don't hand you a dashboard and call it a service. You get financials in plain language, and a conversation about what they mean.

We don't make you feel bad about the state of your books. Nearly every business we take on is behind on something. That's ordinary. Fixing it is the job.

The book

We wrote Keeping Good Books to put the whole system in one place — the same approach we run with clients, in a form you can use whether or not you ever hire us.

That was deliberate. A firm that can only explain its methods behind an invoice doesn't have methods worth much.

Working with us

We take on a limited number of clients so that each one gets real attention. If you're interested, email us at support@omnijax.co and we'll talk through where your books stand and what it would take to get them right.
